Elementary Instructional Aide

Minimum 1+ years paraprofessional or special education experience required.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Elementary School Contract Paraprofessional to join our team in Valencia, CA. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an instructional aide, possess an associate's degree or higher, and ideally hold or have held an RBT Certification.

Responsibilities :

• Provide valuable instructional support to elementary school students under the direction of certified teachers.
• Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as directed by the teaching team.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere by collaborating closely with teachers and other staff members.
• Support students in various classroom activities and provide assistance with academic and behavioral interventions when necessary.
• Uphold strict confidentiality regarding student information and comply with all school policies and procedures.

Requirements :

• Possess an associate's degree or higher in education or a related field.
• Previous experience as an instructional aide or paraprofessional within an educational setting.
• Preferred possession of an RBT Certification or prior certification.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in the field.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
