As our Assistant Risk Manager with Wingate, you'll have direct ownership of responsibilities related to managing the company's insurance database, insurance policy, incidents / claims, safety, loss control, and other general responsibilities.
You will also have active input and participation in the department's on-going programs, systems, processes, and procedures.
Salary : $65,000 to $85,000 / year

As an Assistant Risk Manager you will :
Manage Insurance Policies and Claims : Oversee the administration of insurance policies, including renewals, endorsements, and claims management, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Conduct Loss Control and Safety Initiatives : Lead safety programs, facilitate loss control surveys, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address safety concerns and implement risk mitigation measures.
- Analyze and Reconcile Data : Maintain and reconcile data within the Risk Management Information System (RMIS), ensuring all records are consistent, accurate, and complete.
- Support Risk Management Programs : Actively contribute to the development and implementation of risk management systems, processes, and procedures to enhance departmental effectiveness.
- Serve as a Liaison : Act as the primary contact for insurance-related inquiries, claims, and policy management, providing exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders while addressing their needs and concerns.

Experience Required for Your Success
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, with at least 4 years of professional office experience, preferably in property management, commercial property / casualty insurance, or workers’ compensation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) or relational databases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize competing deadlines
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze data, resolve inconsistencies, and handle unexpected challenges with adaptability and proactive solutions
