Position Summary :

Central Carolina in Sanford, NC. is seeking a Part time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med / Surg Unit.

The CNA will :

Provide patient care to include but not limited to, assistance with activities of daily living, vital signs and Accu-checks while under the supervision and direction of the nurse.

Essential Functions :

Monitor vital signs / blood sugars

Assists patients with activities of daily living; Document and report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition

Measure and document input / output and weights

Assist nurse as needed

Answer call lights

Assist with patient admission, transfer and discharge

Provide care appropriate to the condition / age of the patient

Distribute drinks and / or snacks

Maintain clean and neat patient room and work environment.

Adhere to CCH attendance policy

All other duties as assigned

Required Education :

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Proof within 30 days of hire.

Graduate of Nursing Assistant Program I

Required Certifications :

Certified Nursing Assistant I

BLS is required within 30 days of hire.
