About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for focusing on activities needed to align optimal operational excellence for the Global Sourcing team, reporting directly to the Senior Leader of Global Sourcing.
You will be responsible for focusing on project tasks needed for creating a project management framework and providing project updates including timeline, budget, and roadblocks to executive leadership.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Global direct and indirect spend analysis and tracking at all sites inclusive of commodity alignment and PPV trend data
- Report out on cost savings goal progression monthly by aligning project results with Site Controllers
- Coordination of project end to end tasks aligned with commodity strategies
- Collaboration with strategic sourcing managers on analysis needed for supporting RFQ's, feasibility studies, standard cost updates etc. as required
- Working side by side with purchasing and sales teams on planning demand alignment supporting future state Supplier business expectations
- Coordinate efforts of project outcomes with impacted parties (formally and informally) supporting Global Sourcing initiatives
- Supporting executive team presentation feedback needed for information share via powerpoint, etc, typically through Senior Sourcing Leader, but occasionally may be directly to the Watlow Chief Operating Officer
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or enrollment in progressive college program
- Related work experience (5-8 years)
- Expert level experience in data management / analysis
- ERP / MRP Experience
- Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer Project Management experience; APICs Certified
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite Experience
