Job Description
This Senior account manager is responsible for providing ongoing account management and customer service to clients and assisting in program business development in assigned program area.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned clients including coordination with all appropriate service areas ensuring accurate and timely project completion and delivery of superior customer service
- Manage work order for new clients and products from client request through completion
- Provide information regarding certification requirements and decisions to clients, accreditation representatives, auditors, and regulators as needed
- Responsible for meeting targets for expanding business opportunities with assigned clients based on established Key Client Strategies
- Support business development team as needed, develop and follow-up on client quotations, etc
- Accountable for re-quotes and updating of project scope for new clients
- Compile & issue options for failure resolution to initial clients
- Manage and maintain documentation and database systems for assigned clients and products
- Meet with clients (in office, online, tradeshows, or their facilities) as needed to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
- Manage Key Clients relationships as assigned by Business Unit manager

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- High level of technical aptitude
- Previous successful relevant account management or technical experience
- Experience in customer service with strong interpersonal skills
- Documented successful experience with NSF or subsidiary
- Excellent time management, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific area of study
- Successful background in project management, preferably in a technical field
- Familiarity with the assigned project industry and relevant technical standards
