SVP of Marketing

Calling all SVPs of Marketing with experience in DTC, eComm, and CPG experience. Our innovative pet tech client is looking for a SVP of Marketing to join their team in a direct hire capacity.

This is a hybrid direct hire role that will ideally start as soon as a candidate is identified and report onsite 3 days a week in Auburn Hills.

Responsibilities :

• Being a hands-on and involved leader, overseeing and continuing to develop the marketing organization.
• Overseeing brand, marketing, and performance initiatives across global D2C channels, retail, international, product marketing, and more.
• Refining global D2C performance marketing strategy that supports each product offering.
• Introducing the brand in a meaningful way to consumers.
• Partnering with teams to ensure the right metrics are being used to track performance and continually testing.
• Launching the brand into retail spaces.
• Working with lifecycle marketing to refine CX.
• Driving content strategy to build a pipeline.
• Aligning customer journeys with specific consumer groups.
• Defining a clear marketing roadmap for product lines.
• Developing & launching a loyalty program.
• Supporting subscription and product marketing team.
• Managing digital spend and KPIs to ensure profitability and partnering with finance.
• Working hand-in-hand with senior management to shape company vision and continued growth.

Qualifications :

• 12+ years of experience in an acquisition, performance, or growth marketing role for a DTC CPG brand.
• Experience directing marketing teams and working collaboratively across departments.
• Hands-on expertise with digital acquisition platforms.
• Understanding of customer acquisition strategies.
• Excellent reporting skills to form data-driven insights and test new insights.
• Ability to see the big picture.
• Experience developing eComm marketing strategies.
• Experience in a hyper-growth company utilizing performance growth marketing tactics.
• Ability to be self-motivated and motivate others.
• This position requires you to own a cat or be willing to get a cat.
