Key Responsibilities :

• Manage Accounting for Tech Contracts : Ensure timely invoice submissions and accruals based on contractual terms and project activity.
• Expense Classification : Accurately classify capital vs. operating expenses, cloud vs. on-premise assets, and manage expense recognition timelines, including for internally developed IT software.
• Resource Time Submissions : Review IT resource time submissions through ServiceNow, assess capital vs. operating expense classification, and analyze variances against forecasts and historical data.
• Monthly Close Leadership : Lead the monthly close of IT costs and fixed assets, ensuring accurate reconciliation of GL data to IT project systems and fixed asset subledger.
• Expenditure Analysis : Conduct monthly analysis of IT operating and capital expenditures, reporting variances against budgets, forecasts, and historical data, with a forward-looking perspective on spending impacts.
• Financial Inputs Collaboration : Work closely with IT leadership to provide financial insights for annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.

Job Requirements :

• Education : BS / BA in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred.
• Experience : 5+ years of experience in financial or accounting analysis.
• Technical Skills : Experience with general ledger and financial reporting.
• Software Proficiency : Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Personal Attributes : Excellent multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
• Work Arrangement : Hybrid role, requiring at least 3 days in-office per week.

Salary : $80,000k-$90,000k
