Underground Utility & Drainage Pipe Layer
Watson Civil Construction, Inc. is a premier heavy / highway civil contractor working throughout Florida specializing in large site infrastructure, underground, and road work.
We are seeking Experienced Underground Utility & Drainage Pipe Layer for the Orlando area.
The following duties are typical for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
- Install and join pipes for underground utilities : water mains, sewer mains and storm drains
- Handling and / or moving materials
- Backfill pipe trenches
- Rig and set precast structures and pipe materials
- Use hand tools such as cut off saw, wrenches, tampers, pumps lasers, levels.
- Install dewatering systems; sumps, Kelly wells, well points and sock drains
- Identify, report and correct hazards
- FDOT experience is preferred.
