Overview : 360 Rail Services is seeking an experienced and licensed Professional Engineer for the position of Project Engineer 2 with a background in transportation to lead railroad infrastructure projects.

This position requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license and significant experience in transportation or rail design.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing complex projects, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the successful completion of projects in alignment with industry standards and company goals.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design and execution of railroad infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform complex engineering calculations and develop detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conduct site assessments and provide engineering recommendations.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and designs.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers in the company.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in transportation or railroad design and project management.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Civil 3D, Bentley Systems).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Solid knowledge of transportation engineering principles, standards, and best practices.
