Job Title : Key Account Manager (Remote-California)
Job Summary
Q, LLC is seeking an experienced professional for the position of Key Account Manager within our sales department. The Key Account Manager will identify and generate revenue opportunities by developing strategic relationships with industry resellers.
This role involves managing customer retention, network expansion, and promoting current and upcoming product lines. Candidates must reside in California to effectively engage with clients and comply with regional industry regulations.
Core Responsibilities
- Client Management : Provide pull-through marketing support, track inventory, offer product education and demonstration, and handle client communications.
- Sales Revenue Reporting & Forecasting : Prepare regular reports, analyze data trends, and forecast future revenue opportunities.
- Prospecting New Accounts : Identify and pursue opportunities for new business.
- Event Management : Manage Buy Group relationships, and coordinate attendance and participation in trade shows and other industry events.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must reside in California to support regional clients and product regulations.
- Ability to pass a background check in compliance with the California Fair Chance Act (after a conditional job offer).
- Ability to travel as required, including multiple trips per month.
- Minimum of 1 year of firearm sales and client management experience in the firearms industry (Buy Group experience preferred).
- Comfortable demonstrating and safely handling firearms.
Schedule and Availability
- Standard work hours : 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Additional hours may be required during peak periods or events.
- Regular travel will be required, with compensation for travel time as per applicable regulations.
Experience and Education
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales within the firearms industry.
- Familiarity with business operations, manufacturing, or project management is beneficial.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This role involves a range of physical activities. Employees will need to regularly talk, listen, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
Some standing, walking, and sitting will be required, along with the ability to occasionally lift and move up to 30 pounds.
