Due to our continued growth, we are seeking Construction Inspectors for a variety of projects throughout New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting systems, products, roadways, bridges, etc. to make sure everything has been built according to local, state or federal codes and regulations
- Provide technical assistance to contractors, maintaining daily progress reports, investigating complaints and requests and ensuring compliance of contractors with contract / construction plans and specifications
- Work closely with Engineer of Record to ensure proper installation and compliance with code
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the methods, materials and design of a variety infrastructure projects including water and sewer
- Understanding building, local State and Federal regulations pertaining to construction of water and sewer facilities
- Ability to perform detailed technical inspections and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications and record drawings
- Communicate clearly and concisely; strong verbal and written skills
- Skilled in all standards and safety requirements
