What You’ll Do as an Outpatient Nurse :
We are searching for a full time time OUTPATIENT NURSE (RN / LPN) to work in our Outpatient office in Elkhart.
Primary responsibilities include :
- Collecting data regarding a client’s mental and physical health status
- Assessing clients prior to a face-to-face session with the psychiatrist / NP
- Providing health education, somatic therapies, medication and crisis intervention
- Responding to medication calls and administering medicines
- Reporting adverse drug reactions to physician and pharmacist
- Managing and securely storing medications and samples
- Interviewing patients and completing Medicaid and SSI Disability evaluations in a timely manner
- Documenting all necessary information in patient charts
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum hiring requirements :
- Current Indiana RN / LPN license
- Two years of post-degree psychiatric experience in a similar position preferred
