The Opportunity :

Four Seasons is currently looking for an Overnight Cook 2

Essential function of the job :

• The Overnight Cook is an essential member of the Overnight Food & Beverage team
• Dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests; from a fluffy omelet at three in the morning to an elaborate banquet, our kitchens are always in overdrive, meeting the demands of all of the hotels Food and Beverage operations
• The Overnight Cook will be responsible for all late night, overnight, and early morning dining requests, in particularly for In Room Dining
• Must have knowledge of the In Room Dining menu
• All meals will be prepared in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.

The Kitchen presents and endless amount of opportunities of learning and growth for line cook positions of all levels.

Ability to work, weekend, nights and holidays.

Knowledge and Skills :

• We are looking for an individual who is passionate about cuisine!
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are required in this position.
• The line cook works together with other team members on a daily basis to ensure a flawlessly executed final product and the ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors is required. H
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• The cook position is required to operate, maintain and properly clean a deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, meat and cheese slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron and flat top grill.
• Proficient knife skills are also required.
• Position also requires continuous standing for up to 8 hrs per shift and the ability to lift up to 70lbs.
• The ideal candidate would have a combination of a culinary degree and work experience or the equivalent work experience in a full service fine dining restaurant, if no culinary degree has been obtained.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Must provide work authorization document - proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America

• Hourly rate $26.97
• $1000.00 signing bonus to be paid upon successful completion of 90-day probationary period.
