How you'll be there for students :

Be their advocate, shining star, and mentor.

• In-person instruction in New Orleans
• Part time schedule available; Mon -Thurs (8 am to 3 : 00 pm)
• Small group math and literacy intervention (Tier 2)
• Working with K-12 students; various grade levels

• Facilitate the implementation of academic instructional programs, class work, and assessments for students.
• Maintain program instructional materials and computer lab components.
• Conduct attendance and program tracking and reports.
• Monitor students' computer use and behavior to keep them on task.
• Foster a positive classroom environment as you maintain the confidentiality of students and families.

What we'll need from you :

The positive, enthusiastic assistant teacher we seek has these qualifications.

• Experience as a Teacher Assistant or experience in a classroom / school setting required.
• High school diploma or higher required
• Bachelor's degree, 2 years, or 30 hours of college experience strongly preferred.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with individuals.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams / Zoom.
