Our client, a well-established and rapidly expanding food manufacturer, is looking to hire an HR Assistant to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be a bi-lingual English and Spanish speaker, posses a junior level of HR experience, and looking to grow their career within manufacturing Human Resources.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm (on-site). This position is eligible for RJ-Staffing bonus pay while temporary.
Responsibilities :
- Answer phones for the HR department and respond to questions and inquiries.
- Handle employment application intake.
- Assist with new employee orientations and follow-up paper work processing.
- Perform a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of HR / personnel records and reports.
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality of all employees' records and information.
- Interact with and supply information to job applicants, employees, department managers, public and private agencies.
- Prepare job postings and post accordingly.
- Respond to reference checks and verifications of employment status.
- Assist the manager with HR projects.
- Assist with benefits administration.
- Provide clerical and operational support to HR Manager.
- Assist with the processing of time sheets using a computerized system.
- Respond to employee inquiries.
- Perform any other HR related duties.
Requirements :
- Bi-Lingual Spanish and English
- 1-2 years min of HR Experience
- Paychecks experience a plus
