Responsibilities

  • The Program Manager / PM Relief #1 will have general oversite of the Education and Clinical Counseling Departments. The Program Manager / PM Relief #1 will also directly report to the Program Director of this division.
  • The Program Manager / PM Relief #1 will collaborate closely with the Program Director to report all resource allocations needs, in adherence with contractual requirements.
  • The Program Manager / PM Relief #1 is responsible for the general oversight and operational performance of the Clinical Counseling and Education Departments in an on-site children's residential facility.

This position is responsible for ensuring contractual requirements and client expectations are met at the on-site residential facility.

Acts as primary contact to the client during on-site events.

All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Acuity International is recognized.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Master's level or higher, licensed clinical supervisor (psychology, social work, or counseling psychology) with at least 3 years of clinical counseling experience with adolescents.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (Read, Write, Speak)
  • 3 years or more of experience training and leading others and adapting to diverse situations.
  • 3 years or more of Operations and managerial / supervisory experience.
  • CPR certification, preferred - while we accept applicants without, all employees in service of this contract require CPR certification
  • Licensed Clinical Supervisor preferred
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Excellent presentation skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
  • Clean criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Clean Child Abuse and Neglect (CA / N) or child protective services check.
  • Proficient use of computer to include Microsoft Office Products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Validates and approves timesheets for all direct reports.
  • Ensure all timesheets are approved throughout the department in a timely manner.
  • Ensures that all contract policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Ensures all clinical and educational assessments are completed according to ORR policy.
  • Ensures quality care for all residents and timely response to children needs.
  • Oversees the management intake team, transfer team, shadow team, SIR team, Group Therapy Team and any other team that is required / developed in the Clinical Counseling or Education Departments.
  • Attends all required meetings internal and external.
  • Oversees the supervision and compliance in training of all staff under their division.
  • Ensures all databases are maintained and include quality data.
  • Interacts with both internal and external stakeholders, to enhance the delivery and provision of services by both the Education and Clinical Departments.
  • Other duties as assigned by Program Director.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Must have the ability to stand, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, climb, bend, balance and twist for extended periods.
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds on occasion.
  • Able to withstand changing environmental conditions with the weather (rain, lightning, and winds).
  • Must be able to safely maneuver throughout the job site (sports field, construction areas, etc).
