Job details Spherion is looking for TEMPORARY Production Assemblers for a premier company on the North-West side of South Bend, IN.
The Production Assembler is responsible for productively assembling component parts according to work instructions and prints and accurately recording the transactions in the company's system.
Shifts Available : ... 1st shift, 5am-3 : 30pm Monday-Thursday, $17.54 / HR
Positions may involve working Fridays and mandatory overtime.

Responsibilities :
- Lifts component parts up to 10 pounds and hardware boxes up to 45 pounds
- Joins component parts together by rotating nuts and screws
- Packages assembled parts as required
- Accurately and efficiently enters completed assembly counts into the ERP system
- Safely uses small automatic hand tools to secure bolts
- Labels finished product accurately
- Keeps assembly areas free of debris
- Counts work in process inventory locations
- Reports inventory shortages to supervisor
Working hours : 5 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM
Skills :
- Ability to learn to use inventory scales for small hardware components
- Ability to control small automated hand tools
