Make a difference and join an enthusiastic team looking to make a difference in the lives of today’s military! CACI is looking for a Senior Database Administrator / Developer (DBA) with interpersonal, communication skills, and a record of accomplishment of successful project execution.
The DBA will be responsible for developing and maintaining database software primarily using SQL and PL / SQL, as it relates to user requirements and existing software defects.
This activity encompasses support using Windows OS / Oracle 10g and higher. The project is within CACI's Healthcare Delivery Systems portfolio.
As an integral team member will serve remotely or at the Norfolk Naval Base. The project excels at delivering complex health care delivery systems for Federal Healthcare customers.
This team player will support the Maritime Medical Modules (MMM) team.
What You’ll Get to Do :
Full accountability for the execution and delivery of multiple projects as related to DBA activities
Managing client, customer relationships
Prepare and deliver contract deliverables and scope execution requirements established by sponsors and Contracting Officer (COR)
Focus on delivery by leveraging an integrated master schedule (IMS), coordinating the projects and their interdependencies.
Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements.
Develop and maintain database software primarily using SQL and PL / SQL as it relates to user requirements and existing software defects
Hardware and Software Evaluation
Systems design integration planning for multiple large-scale installations
System Test and Evaluation, planning execution and management
You’ll Bring These Qualifications :
Active Secret Clearance
Twelve (12) years of hands on experience with Information Technology, to include three of the following areas : Systems Requirements, Project Management and Strategic Planning, HIPAA requirements, Medical Systems, Operational Requirements, Enterprise Strategic Planning and operations, Enterprise systems incident management, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
- Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in one or more of : medical systems; advanced system architecture;
- information assurance; hardware technologies; digital / analog communications technologies; applied physics; human factors engineering;
computer simulation; electronic sensor technologies; and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Able to work with highly technical IT personnel, understand technical tasking, and explain technical activities to non-technical individuals.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of Windows OS / Oracle 10g and higher
Knowledge of maintaining Database Description Documentation (DBDD) and Entity Relational Diagrams (ERDs).
Ability to perform database code unit tests and supported Development Integration testing (DIT) / Systems Integration testing (SIT) of approved customer change requests.
Demonstrated detailed knowledge of IA concepts and requirements.
Demonstrated writing / editing skills.
Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment
