So, what does a Silvi Materials Senior Staff Accountant do? You'll be an integral part of our Top-Notch Accounting Team :

• Coordinating all accounting operational functions (A / R, A / P, and General Accounting).
• Accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
• Preparing internal and external financial statements and operating reports.
• Providing management with accurate and timely information vital to the decision-making process.
• Assist in the improvement of accounting and internal control systems.
• Special Projects / assignments as directed by the Controller.
• Overseeing regulatory (state and local tax) reporting and compliance.
• Assist in the ERP implementation.
• Assist in Field Inventory.

Qualifications Required :

• Valid Driver’s License
• Bachelor's degree with major in accounting, finance or similar field highly preferred.
• Experience with an ERP implementation is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI is a plus.
• Master’s degree or advanced certification is a plus.
• 3+ years relevant experience in accounting required. Additional experience preferred but not required.
• Willing to undergo a credit check.
• Well-experienced, focusses on business objectives and highly effective in dealing with a broad range of accounting topics.
• Possesses solid communication, analytical, and management skills including extensive accounting software and spreadsheet experience.
• Possesses knowledge of all aspects of basic accounting.
• Manufacturing, cost accounting or auditing experience is also highly valued.
• Possesses the flexibility / adaptability to change projects on short notice.
