JOB DESCRIPTION
The Global Marketing Communications Manager will lead the creation of comprehensive marketing communications and sales promotion initiatives to meet product strategies and sales objectives for the Downstream Refining and Petrochemical Industries, along with the Fuels and Water treatment applications within those industries.
Within this role, you will contribute to profitable sales growth of Downstream by supporting the creation and implementation of strategies and plans that differentiate Nalco Water from its competitors.
This role includes strategic responsibilities for developing short and long-term communication strategies and marketing plans to achieve volume, market share, margin, and other objectives for growth.
Acts as a champion of the Ecolab brand and delivery of the Ecolab Experience.

What You Will Do :
- Support the global divisional strategy by developing, managing, and executing marketing communications strategies and plans to accelerate brand awareness and industry leadership, promote our products and programs, and drive business growth
- Drive key strategic initiatives with a significant role in both internal and external communications. Partner with Marketing team and other subject matter experts to strengthen value propositions and create compelling communications to engage target audiences
- Lead strategic communications strategy, planning and execution for industry conferences and trade shows, advertising, media, thought leadership opportunities, speaking engagements and other promotional or educational activities.
Partner with other businesses and resources as needed to maximize opportunities and business impact
- Develop business leadership and internal communications strategies to drive internal engagement
- Manage Marketing Communications associates to develop and execute internal and external communications, campaigns and other deliverables.
Support and accelerate their skill development
Oversee all marketing communications activities including technical and / or promotional writing and design, development and management of marketing collateral, audio and video production, and various other digital communications such as web and social media content.
Develop messaging and creative concepts that support brand strategy and guidelines
Manage marketing communications budget and agency / supplier relationships
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree- preferably in the technical space
- 6-8 years of professional marketing communications experience in a B2B environment
- Immigration sponsorship not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications :
- MBA, preferably in Marketing
- Supervisory experience
- Experience with wide range of marketing tools, including strategic and tactical product marketing capabilities
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, PoliteMail, SiteCore, other communications or content management software
- Public relations, digital marketing and / or social media expertise
