TAX SUPERVISOR

Job Overview : As a Tax Supervisor at Crete Professionals Alliance, you will play a vital role in shaping our tax practice and providing exceptional service to our diverse clientele.

You will also be responsible for leading a team of talented tax professionals, mentoring them to enhance their skills and advance their careers.

Your expertise will be crucial in developing and implementing innovative tax strategies that align with our clients' business objectives.

By staying current with the latest tax laws and regulations, you will ensure that our clients receive the most accurate and beneficial advice.

Your role will also involve collaborating with internal teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Responsibilities :

Supervise the preparation and review of complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.

Provide strategic tax planning advice to minimize client liabilities and enhance business growth.

Conduct thorough tax research and create detailed technical memoranda on a variety of tax issues.

Analyze financial statements and ensure accurate tax provision calculations.

Collaborate with clients to gather essential information and resolve their tax-related inquiries.

Manage and coordinate tax audits, ensuring smooth communication with tax authorities.

Mentor and develop junior staff, offering guidance and support to enhance their skills.

Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide clients with the best solutions.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and satisfaction.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s in Taxation is highly preferred.

CPA designation or equivalent is required.

A minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting or tax services, focusing on complex tax issues across various industries.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

A proactive approach to client service and a strong commitment to professional development.
