JOB DESCRIPTION
Volt is immediately hiring for a Burnisher for a company located in Huntington Beach, CA.
As a Burnisher you will :
- Prepare parts for coating.
- Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application.
- Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems.
- Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects.
- Bake parts at appropriate temperatures within limitations.
- Knowledge of electrostatic coatings, wash, and pretreatments.
- Ensure that all components are produced / coated efficiently and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance.
This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day.
The ideal candidate will have :
- Must be able to communicate discrepancies to team leader and be able to solve problems and implement solutions.
- Ability to follow instructions and comply with all safety regulations including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, persistence.
- Visual examination of finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Attention to detail and quality of coated product.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Schedule : 5 : 15 AM to 2 : 00 PM
Days : Monday through Friday and occasionally overtime on Saturday
Pay Rate : $18.50 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
