We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to oversee the design, engineering, installation, and aftermarket support of commercial HVAC systems.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in HVAC system design, experience with multiple projects simultaneously, and proficiency in project management tools.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing project deliverables, documentation, and communication between various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Management : Lead and manage 5-40 HVAC projects concurrently, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of all phases including design, installation, and support.
- Design / Engineering Support : Collaborate with engineering and design teams to support the creation of HVAC systems, reviewing and interpreting construction documentation, RFIs, and product specifications.
- Documentation Review : Produce, review, and manage project deliverables, including pricing, drawings, materials, and samples.
- Coordination : Work with architectural, structural, electrical, and other trade professionals to ensure integrated system design and implementation.
- Quality Assurance : Oversee verification activities to ensure project compliance with standards and specifications.
- Client Interaction : Maintain effective communication with clients, addressing concerns and providing updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Leadership : Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to facilitate project execution and resolve any issues that arise.
Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 4 years of professional work experience in project management, with at least 3 years specifically supporting the design and engineering of HVAC systems.
Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of full system design, including interaction with architectural, structural, electrical, and other trades.
Certifications : Professional Engineer (PE), Fundamentals of Engineering (FE), or Engineer in Training (EIT) certifications are a plus.
Skills :
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with AutoCAD or other modeling tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field is required.
