In this critical role, you will help lead and improve the overall safety of our manufacturing processes. You will consult and advise on the full scope of technical and non-technical safety issues, including both local and national safety regulations.
You will be responsible for coordinating the implementation and continuous improvement of all our safety programs. As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles the world expects from us.

The Engineer 3, Occupational Safety, working under general direction as a contributing team member, is responsible for applying technical safety standards, principles, theories, and concepts to independently develop approaches to solutions for a wide range of difficult occupational safety problems such as hazard control and prevention, safety systems and equipment, compliance, and risk management.
The role coordinates with other team members to implement plant-wide safety processes, including the Company’s Safety Operating System (SOS), emergency response planning, safety training, and the application of technical standards.
The Engineer will also collaborate with senior engineers and managers to contribute to the completion of milestones within specific projects as per function priorities.
