We are opening a new bar and kitchen in the quaint and loveable hamlet of Collinsville with stunning views of the Farmington River.

We are looking for servers with a knack for hospitality to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us.

You will serve our guests in the restaurant by ensuring that they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served timely, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests.

Our ideal candidate maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor toward our guests and coworkers while providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Compensation : $6.38 - $35 hourly

Responsibilities :

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations
• Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant
• Actively engage in pre-shift and department meetings to get a thorough knowledge of all goods, services, and facility operations
• Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests
• Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors

Qualifications :

• Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
• Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills
• Previous experience working in food service is preferred
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
