Overview

This individual will report to the Continuous Improvement Manager and will supervise the day-to-day grounds and facility maintenance and new equipment installation.

The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure that all preventative maintenance schedules are followed and provide leadership for compliance and OSHA standards.

Essential Functions

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance, major and minor repairs and remodeling or construction projects throughout facility
• Ensure that a robust preventative maintenance program is in place and adhered to.
• Support and oversee all operational aspects of the facilities and equipment, to include the troubleshooting, repair, and routine maintenance of all machinery, equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Purchase building and maintenance supplies and equipment. Coordinate minor and major property repairs and routine maintenance requirements through the solicitation, analysis, and acceptance of bids.

Provide oversight to all outside contractors to ensure adherence to required safety protocols and accurate completion of work.

• Perform general maintenance, repairs and other projects as required to ensure production continues with little to no interruption.
• Inspect grounds, facilities, vehicles, and equipment routinely to determine necessity of repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain contact with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure protection and compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.

Education and Experience

• Associate degree in a technical or business-related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of facility maintenance experience is required.
• 2+ years of management experience is required.
• Experience with a maintenance software tool preferred.
• ERP or other manufacturing software experience preferred.
