Welcome to Child Advocates of Blair County! We're thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity as a full-time Paraprofessional - Preschool Classroom Aide where you can make a difference in the lives of young learners at one of our multiple locations throughout Blair County, PA.

At Child Advocates of Blair County, we believe in investing in our employees. As a Paraprofessional - Preschool Classroom Aide, you'll be a part of a classroom team of 3 educators and enjoy a starting rate of $14.

WHAT YOUR DAY ENTAILS

As a Paraprofessional - Preschool Classroom Aide, your role is pivotal in providing positive classroom support and enhancing the educational experience for three- to five-year-olds.

You'll contribute to a safe and stimulating environment, assessing each child's development, promoting healthy habits, and maintaining administrative documentation.

Imagine a typical day where you engage in hands-on activities, ensuring the well-being and progress of each child. Your support in family engagement and adherence to safety protocols make you an indispensable part of our team.

QUALIFICATIONS

We're seeking individuals eager to work with young children and excited to contribute to shaping future generations. If this is you, check to see if you meet the qualifications below!

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills with the ability to use a variety of office equipment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Attentive to detail with great problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance

Having experience in the field of education is preferred but not required!

WORK SCHEDULE

Your schedule as a Paraprofessional - Preschool Classroom Aide will vary depending on the location. Enjoy flexibility with schedules ranging from 9 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM, 9 AM - 3 PM, 8 AM - 2 PM, or 10 AM - 4 PM, with summers, weekends, and holidays off!
