We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Flooring Project Manager to join our construction team. This role is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional seeking to take their career to the next level in the construction industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of flooring projects from planning to implementation, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

This position requires a deep understanding of flooring materials and installation techniques, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle including conception, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure.

2. Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management strategies.

3. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists to design and implement flooring solutions for commercial projects.

4. Ensure that all flooring installations meet or exceed industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.

5. Coordinate and supervise the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.

6. Manage project communication and documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and final project reports.

7. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans and safety regulations.

8. Resolve any project-related issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner.

9. Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members through clear and effective communication.

10. Continually evaluate project performance and implement improvements as necessary.

Qualifications :

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry, with a focus on flooring.

2. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

3. Demonstrated knowledge of commercial flooring materials and installation techniques.

4. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work within budget constraints.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve project-related issues effectively and efficiently.

6. Proficient in construction software and project management tools.

7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey project information to team members, clients, and stakeholders.

8. Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and planning skills.

9. A commitment to safety, with knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.

10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and initiative.

11. Professional certification in project management or a related field is a plus.
