Intellectual Property Legal Secretary (Patent and Trademark)
Responsibilities
- Administrative tasks, including processing new client / matter requests, client bills, time reports and expense reports
- Dictation and transcription
- Correspondence
- Prepare, edit, finalize and management of documents
- Handle IP filings under the supervision of lawyer
- Monitors client files and deadlines
- Coordinates travel arrangements and meetings
- Work with other lines of business as requested
Requirements / Qualifications :
- High School Diploma
- At least 3 years of experience supporting IP Lawyers - in an administrative capacity, especially.
- Understanding of dockets and deadlines
- Strong familiarity with any tasks related to USPTO Filings
