The Performance Analyst (HR Data Focus) is responsible for structuring data, providing analysis, and reporting to assist in decision-making and optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the human resources function within Simmons Bank.

The position will focus on data structure, data integration, analyzing and interpreting HR data, identifying trends, and providing accessible, real time data to help HR leaders to make informed associate related recommendations, decisions and policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Analyze and assess available data and structure and take steps to optimize data quality, accessibility and usage
  • Maintain data quality through governance and recordkeeping
  • Act as a liaison between the data and HR teams to understand and articulate the business requirements and translate it into data solutions and reporting
  • Proactively conduct analysis of human resources data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze and interpret HR metrics, such as engagement, performance, capacity and talent management.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for predictive analytics
  • Prepare reports as needed or requested
  • Collaborate with Chief Human Resources Officer, HR leadership, HR business partners, HRIS SMEs and other stakeholders to understand organizational needs and provide analytical support for HR projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure all data and reports meet internal confidentiality standards.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required :

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Business, Accounting or a related field is required.
  • 1+ years of work-related experience and / or training in data architecture, analytics or data analysis preferred.
  • Experience with data architecture, structure, use and reporting
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of Human Resource management preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, Microsoft Power BI, Financial Spreading Software and exposure to HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) preferred.
  • Strong communication and consultative skills that support translation of business objectives into technical solutions, working with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve practical problems and interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret HR-related materials, including policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
