Location : Alpharetta, Georgia - Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Role Description :

As the Accounting Specialist you will assist in a wide range of accounting duties. The position requires a great attention to detail and someone who can adapt from one assignment to the next.

The Accounting Specialist must have the skill set to be able to perform their job duties with limited supervision.

What You’ll Do :

Key Responsibilities :

• Reconciling cash receipts from multiple sources. Researching cash receipts when required.
• Billing miscellaneous receivables.
• Reconciling various general ledger accounts.
• Process Employee expenses including credit card statements and travel expense reports.
• Conduct research and analysis of short pays, over payments or duplicate payments.
• Issue customer refunds.
• Process customer gift cards, research and handle other issues.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Education and / or Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a minimum of three years experience in a related field.
• Skilled in basic accounting knowledge, such as invoicing, reconciliations, schedules, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Payables in an ERP system, preferably NetSuite or SAP.
