Description of Position :
The paraprofessional will work with a variety of students including multiple handicapped and autism. This involves supporting students in all aspects of their day and the ability to work in diverse classroom settings under the direction of the special and / or regular education teachers which may include therapy activities, toileting, lifting, field trips, life skills instruction and all other duties as assigned by the teacher and / or building principal.
Qualifications :
Applicants should possess the skills to assist in all school activities. Applicants must be able to support student instruction, record data as needed, may assist students with feeding, toileting and other personal hygiene.
Applicants must be flexible and able to adjust to schedule changes as directed by the teacher and / or principal.
Salary : 2024-2025 Salary Schedule
