AV/IT Project Manager

IM Solutions is a small business ($2M) located on the Space Coast of Florida just minutes from beautiful east coast beaches.

IM Solutions is searching for an Project Manager responsible for managing AVIT projects with a focus on quality, profitability, safety and customer satisfaction.

This position involves overseeing project scope, schedules, budgets, and resource management. The ideal project manager will have extensive experience in AVIT installation and construction standards, strong leadership skills and a commitment to upholding our company's core values.

Reports to : Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities :

1. Project Management

• Lead and manage all aspects of AVIT projects, including milestone based project planning, execution and delivery.
• Maintain project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure on-time and within-budget completion.
• Ensure adherence to safety measures and AVIT core processes throughout project lifecycle
• Establish and enforce standards, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

2. Customer Relationship Management :

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining relationships and ensuring satisfaction during the installation phase.
• Address customer issues promptly and effectively, striving to enhance the customer experience.

3. Team Leadership and Development :

• Manage AV / IT resources, including staffing levels, training, and utilization on projects.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the installation team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Essential Duties You'll Need to Fulfill :

This is a partial list. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards, processes, and procedures
• Plan, communicate, and track all aspects of AVIT projects
• Manage staff levels and utilization of hours on AVIT projects
• Actively participate in Operations department (L10) meetings
• Work closely with Leadership team to set and / or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation
• Run a safe, injury / accident-free AVIT projects sites
• Serve as key Customer point of contact during the installation phase

Required Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years experience installing and troubleshooting AV / IT systems.
• Systems knowledge and experience with Crestron controls, Audio DSP configuration, AVIT networking, CCTV CMS, VoIP and VTC Communication Systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology-based project management and construction methodology.
• AVIT Related technical degree or AVIXA CTS (certified technical specialist) certification
• Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MIS tools such as ERP, BMS, CRM, and MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of best project management practices and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to drive a company provided fleet vehicle.
• Ability to load and unload equipment weighing a minimum of 35 pounds.
