Your Impact
Under the daily supervision of the Fuel Supervisor with assistance as needed from the Fuel Manager. The Fuels Accountant is the focal point for dispatching, accounting and inventory management of all receipt, storage, internal handling, and shipment of petroleum products.
- Responsible for the accounting and inventory management of all receipt, storage, internal handling, and shipment of petroleum products
- Responsible for all accounting functions needed for proper inventory management, including ordering product receipts, inputting all fuel movements, tracking tank inventories, and maintaining a ledger for government reporting.
- Prepare and submit reports or other verifying documentation as required for both local contract requirements and LBS requirements.
- Understands and abides by the standards set forth for ethical behavior and integrity as detailed in the Code of Business Conduct.
- Performs all other duties prescribed by management.

Required Qualifications
- Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date
- Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date. Passport must have a minimum of 6 blank pages prior to OCONUS mobilization.
- Must satisfy the USARPAC Force Health Protection Guidance medical requirements for INDOPACOM prior to OCONUS mobilization, must be able to maintain a Medically Qualified (MQ) rating on an annual basis.
- Must be CAC eligible and able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.

Additional Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of FMD9 and BSME systems
- Must have experience in the accounting and inventory requirements of DoD .25M.
- Fluent English reading and writing skills to be able to read and understand government guidance for day-to-day work requirements.
- Must have basic computer skills including the ability to use Microsoft office suite software package.
- Must be able to accurately document work progress and report repair status.
- Successful completion of the current Base-Level Defense Fuels Management Course (on-line).
- Successful completion of the FMD9 Accounting Computer Based Training (CBT) and register for a formal course. Note that the course does not have to be completed at the end of the first six months to maintain the role, but course reservation must be firm.
Remote position requirements :
- Must be available online during local work hours to coordinate contractual deliverables for mission and functional area needs and must also be flexible to work weekends or other shifts as needed.
- Must be readily available to support rapid mobilization on Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY) with limited notice. TDY support commitments are structured in 30-day increments and can extend up to a maximum of 90 consecutive days per TDY, depending on mission and program requirements.
The total TDY obligation will not exceed days per calendar year and may involve Inter-Atoll travel, including visits to outlying islands or project sites within the USAG-KA command.
- Must satisfy the USARPAC Force Health Protection Guidance medical requirements for INDOPACOM prior to OCONUS mobilization, must be able to maintain a Medically Qualified (MQ) rating on an annual basis.
- Attendance at the Nonmilitary Individual Replacement Deployment Operations (N-m-IRDO) is required before embarking on a TDY that exceeds 30 days.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI (Tier 1 Investigation) for Installation Access on USAG-KA.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required during TDY work. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
- TDY personnel must fully comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations as well as established post policies (USAG-KA -10, Zero Tolerance, etc.).
