Who we want :

The Corporate Account Manager (CAM) will be responsible for executing development strategies to secure funding for United Way and promote year-round engagement with corporate partners through employee giving, corporate gifts, sponsorships, volunteerism, CSR activations, and more.

You will own a portfolio of accounts that represents approximately 8% of the unrestricted revenue goals for the Resource Development team.

You will provide leadership and support to the Corporate Philanthropy team in ensuring all outreach and activity is tracked accurately in Salesforce.

And, to achieve these goals, you will work collaboratively with members of the Resource Development team, as well as members of the Marketing, Finance, and Mission Advancement teams, as needed.

What you’ll do :

  • Implement the Corporate Philanthropy team’s annual strategy for workplace campaigns and employee giving for CAM’s portfolio of accounts.
  • Input and track all outreach and fundraising activities in Salesforce.
  • With support from the Senior Director and / or Director of Corporate Philanthropy, create and implement innovative activations to increase corporate engagement through fundraising and recognition.
  • Serve as the United Way leader for assigned portfolio companies and stay informed on United Way’s overall engagement with each portfolio company.
  • With RD Leadership support, collaborate with Grants Team to co-author and provide feedback on proposals and applications for Corporate funders.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Corporate Philanthropy to build a pipeline of new corporate funding prospects through research, Board Relations, and other community outreach.
  • Cultivate and steward existing and new relationships to move through the pipeline to closed won opportunities.

What you’ll bring :

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Fundraising, account management or sales experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, or other fundraising CRM software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to operate professionally under a variety of working conditions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong team building skills; ability to work well with staff in all departments; comfortable working with diverse groups.
  • Maintains a positive, solutions-focused approach despite external situations.

This position is located in Austin, Texas, and reports directly to the Sr. Director of Corporate Philanthropy .
