Reporting to the Senior Image Retoucher, as the Photographer & Image Retoucher, you’ll have a keen eye for detail and a good knowledge and experience of Product and Lifestyle photography.

This role is offered as a part-time (0.8, 30hrs pw) temporary position to cover a period of Family Leave of up to 12 months, and is based in Cornwall with hybrid working, dependent on the shooting schedule.

You'll help us by :

Excelling in multiple areas of photography. From photographing and styling product flats, retouching a variety of product and model imagery to being a well organised and knowledgeable Digi op to the location photographer.

This role requires someone with a broad understanding of photography and image retouching. We are looking for someone who can bring ideas, enthusiasm and skills to the team.

The skills you'll be sharing with the team :

• Excellent knowledge of using Photoshop, Bridge, Capture One and Excel.
• Industry Retouching experience.
• Industry experience as a photographer or photography assistant working in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Colour correcting experience from product to screen.
• Self-motivated and ability to plan own time.
• Ability to follow procedures and naming conventions already set out.
• Understanding of the various types of studio lighting, both continuous and flash.
• Flexible approach and works well under pressure and can multitask projects.
• Proficient on both Mac and PC.
• Ability to use initiative.
• Exceptional attention to detail with communication and task management skills.
• Love being part of a team, able to give and receive constructive feedback and happy to share skills and experience.
• Able to work additional hours and travel away when needed.
