In this role, you will lead our estimating team and drive business development efforts, focusing on our specialized services in building envelope restoration, masonry restoration, and facade preservation.

You will play a crucial role in expanding our client base, enhancing our market presence, and ensuring accurate, competitive estimates that align with our reputation for craftsmanship and innovation in the restoration industry.

We specialize in the rehabilitation, restoration, preservation, and reconstruction of structural, load-bearing, and veneer-based exterior facades.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to : -Estimating Leadership : Lead and manage the estimating team, ensuring accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of projects, including the rehabilitation, restoration, preservation, and reconstruction of structural, load-bearing, and veneer-based exterior facades.

Develop and implement estimating processes, standards, and best practices to improve accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.

Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates, proposals, and bid packages for both historic and modern structures.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure all estimates align with project requirements and client expectations.

Business Development : Drive business development strategies to expand UBER's market presence and client base in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including developing relationships with potential clients, architects, structural engineers, and other key stakeholders.

Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote UBER's services and expertise in building envelope restoration.Represent UBER at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and establish long-term client relationships.

Client Relationship Management : Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the pre-construction phase, addressing inquiries, providing technical guidance, and managing expectations.

Conduct client presentations and negotiate contract terms to secure new projects and retain ongoing business.-Strategic Planning and Analysis : Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term business strategies and objectives for UBER's growth and profitability.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for expansion and improvement.

Prepare regular reports and presentations on business development and estimating activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate should possess : -Education and Experience : Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field;

advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in estimating, business development, or project management within the construction or restoration industry, with a strong focus on building envelope and masonry restoration projects.

Skills and Competencies : Proven track record of leading and managing estimating teams, with a deep understanding of estimating processes, techniques, and best practices.

Strong business development skills with the ability to identify opportunities, build relationships, and close deals.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards, particularly in the context of restoration and preservation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions.-Other Requirements : Proficiency in estimating software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit project sites.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
