Position Summary
As part of the System Security leadership team, the Director of Security Operations Support will set the strategic direction for and manage the processes associated with system-wide integration of investigations, crime / loss prevention, training, security awareness, risk assessment, executive protection, and measurement / analysis.
Ensure coherent integration with people (staffing), processes (workflows), technology, site-based operations, and other functional areas.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education : Bachelor's Degree required.
- License / Certifications : N / A.
- Experience : 5 years’ management-level experience with program level responsibility in security management. 2 years’ experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing tailored mitigation solutions;
designing / delivering training to security professionals; investigations; and designing programs for effective measurement and actionable analysis.
- Additional Skills / Requirements Required : N / A
- Additional Skills / Requirements Preferred : Experience in healthcare or higher education with knowledge of existing and emerging risk / threat factors, mitigating strategies, and principles preferred.
Prior experience with private sector security organizations or law enforcement agencies with a mission to safeguard people and assets of organizations of 50,000 people or more preferred.
