Job Title : SCADA / MES Systems Developer and Support Specialist
Position Overview :
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a SCADA / MES Systems Developer and Support Specialist. The successful candidate will develop, maintain, and enhance SCADA / MES systems and provide plant support, including potential work with PLC logic.
Key Responsibilities :
- SCADA & MES Development : Design and implement SCADA & MES programming.
- HMI Development : Create user-friendly Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens.
- Data Historian Management : Administer data historian systems, perform queries, validate data, and design reports.
- Integration : Interface additional data sources with Historian systems.
- System Administration : Maintain SCADA & MES systems.
- Standards Compliance : Ensure projects meet company standards.
- Collaboration : Work with teams to develop new mechanical and electronic systems.
- Testing & Research : Create test environments and evaluate pilot runs of new products.
- Support : Provide backup support as needed.
Qualifications :
- Technical Skills :
- Proficient in object-oriented programming for SCADA applications.
- Skilled in troubleshooting SCADA systems, HMIs, and Data Historians (iFix and iHistorian preferred).
- Experience with high-level programming languages (C#, Visual Basic, Python).
- Ability to interface with PLCs and other automation systems.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC DA / UA, Ethernet / IP).
- Proficient in MSSQL, VB, HTML, and PLC Logic (EcoStruxure Control Expert is a plus).

Experience :
- At least 2 years in SCADA systems development and support, preferably with iFix.

Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in Controls Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- A 2-year technical degree in SCADA, Electrical Mechanical, or a related discipline will be considered.
