Description of the role :
The Parts Advisor at Mazda of Columbia is responsible for assisting customers with purchasing parts and accessories for their Mazda vehicles.
They will provide exceptional customer service, accurately identify parts needed, and effectively communicate with the Service Department to ensure timely delivery of parts to customers.
Responsibilities :
- Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts and accessories for their Mazda vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service, including answering phone inquiries and assisting customers in-person
- Utilize computer systems to accurately locate and order parts
- Collaborate with the Service Department to ensure timely delivery of parts to customers
- Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock checks
- Process transactions and handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in the automotive industry or parts sales is preferred
- Strong knowledge of vehicles and their parts is a plus
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to accurately identify parts and accessories
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
