JOB TITLE : Global Services Parts Analyst
JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for providing leadership and spare parts expertise in supporting Global Services functions through the innovation, implementation, and tracking of tools to analyze spare parts and inventory data.
The Global Service Parts Analyst position will generate / run various queries, support, and analyze complex data and information, define process and systems requirements, and manage transactions in support with the following areas : coordination with various Regions, departments, including Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, Quality, and Field and Bench Service to ensure that all medical devices are operational, and that any downtime is minimized and meet customer expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Inventory Management : Analyze and maintain database providing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels. Maintain accurate inventory records of all spare parts for medical devices.
Executes regular inventory audits to ensure availability and readiness of critical spare parts. Manages and minimizes excess inventory and associated costs.
Oversees and predicts part usage based on production NCs, sustaining engineering updates, and service usage. Generates reports to lead part usage data from Design Transfer to Commercial end of life.
- Adjust inventory of spare parts used for devices near end of life and the raw materials supporting those spares.
- Conduct independent analysis and data collection to routinely track and report on spares related KPIs.
- Manage and track orders and incorporate part lead time, vendor supply issues, and SIOP to ensure part availability.
- Collaborate with supply chain, maintenance personnel and field support to identify required spare parts for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Actively adjust plans as device installation base grows and ages. Escalate to Global Service Management concerns that may impact customer expectations.
- Develop and execute business analytics that enable identification, prioritization, and justification of improvement programs that optimize Global Services performance with spare parts and managing inventory including obsolescence, slow-moving parts, cycle counts, overall levels.
- Identify, recommend, and implement improvement opportunities for current spare parts systems, accounting, and reporting methods with relevant stakeholders.
- Diagram and evaluate existing processes, plan and analyze activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of spare parts.
- Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
- Serve as the primary contact point for Bench and Field Service technicians in all Regions regarding parts inquiries and status updates.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve parts-related issues promptly.
Research industry best practices, benchmarks and tools to incorporate into analytics practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics or Business Administration (with Field Service, Customer Service Operations or Analytics concentration), or similar.
Experience
Minimum 6 years experience in a business setting engaged in business analytics with at least 1 year supporting Supply Chain or Operations.
Regulated industry or Medical Device preferred.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Demonstrated ability to generate, analyze data and prepare detailed reports.
- Demonstrated ability to summarize information and report meeting minutes.
- Experience supporting Power BI dashboard creation
- Experience in data warehouse, data lake, data analytics, big data or business intelligence products
- Experience with prioritizing and being successful in an environment with competing demands.
- Excels at telling a story with data, and using data visualization to help people find meaningful insights.
- Strong leadership presence, excels at communicating and presenting directly to managers and leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of SQL, and MS SQL Server a plus.
- SAP knowledge a plus.
- ServiceMax knowledge a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Typical Office Environment requirements include : reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
Target Pay Range : $68,300.00 to $85,300.00 - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base : 7.0%
