Duties
- Manage a diverse caseload of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and property division
- Draft and negotiate marital settlement agreements
- Represent clients in litigation, mediation, and court appearances
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy and preparation
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the family law process
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive legal strategies
- Attend court hearings, client meetings, and mediation sessions as required
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in family law practice
- Strong litigation experience and a background in handling complex family law matters
- Exceptional oral communication skills, with the ability to advocate effectively in court
- Strong legal research abilities to support case preparation and strategy
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain positive client relationships
- Willingness to travel for court appearances and client meetings as needed
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications
Licensed to practice law in California (required)
