Senior Associate Attorney Family Law

Duties

• Manage a diverse caseload of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and property division
• Draft and negotiate marital settlement agreements
• Represent clients in litigation, mediation, and court appearances
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy and preparation
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the family law process
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive legal strategies
• Attend court hearings, client meetings, and mediation sessions as required

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in family law practice
• Strong litigation experience and a background in handling complex family law matters
• Exceptional oral communication skills, with the ability to advocate effectively in court
• Strong legal research abilities to support case preparation and strategy
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain positive client relationships
• Willingness to travel for court appearances and client meetings as needed

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

Licensed to practice law in California (required)
