Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.

Under the direction of the Manager / Supervisor / Lead Person, the Laboratory Tech is responsible for providing support to the Chemists / Microbiologists.

Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.

Shift : 1st Shift, 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm Tuesday through Saturday

Responsibilities :

• Conducts entry level analysis and evaluations of raw materials and bulk products
• Supports Chemists / Microbiologists by performing preparatory tasks prior to sample analysis
• Supports laboratory by restocking consummables and organizing testing areas
• Perform removal of biohazardous / hazardous waste from the laboratory
• Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains punctual work attendance
• Adhere to safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Computer literate to use Microsoft Word and Excel
• Prior laboratory experience
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Basic mathematical skills
• Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
