Procurement Team Specialist
Sacramento, CA
The ideal schedule is 8am - 4 : 30 / 5 : 00pm onsite. No working from home. This is a Temporary position up to 6 months, and possibly longer.
Compensation : 30.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Maintains supplier registry, supplier onboarding and administration.
- Sets-up new materials and maintains data related to plants, storage locations, quality management, MRP, and batch management to insure the integrity of SAP procurement, logistics and demand planning.
- Assists with sourcing indirect materials, working with suppliers to ensure orders conform with specification, form relationships with vendors and resolving discrepancies associated to invoices.
- Processes requisitions from various groups and turning those requisitions into purchase orders.
- Prepares and process requisitions and purchase orders for assigned categories.
- Maintains supplier registry, onboarding, and administration in Ariba.
- Strong written and verbal communication needed.
Minimum level of education required
High School Degree
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 4 years of corporate procurement experience
- In lieu of a procurement background, candidates with a history of customer service, project management or accounting would be comparable.
Other required type(s) of functional experience (e.g. Production / Operations, Accounting, Forklift Operator, Inventory Control, etc.)
- Knowledge of E-Suite (e-procurement, e-auctions, e-sourcing, e-catalog's)
- Replenishment experience and knowledge of how MRP works
Minimum number of year(s) of experience required in addition to education plus type(s) of functional experience.
Completes vendor and material set up in SAP. Administers master data fields in SAP associated for supply chain planning, customer service, transportation and procurement.
Reviews daily material requirements in MRP and issue purchase orders for assigned material groups. Works with suppliers to prevent or solve late purchase orders
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES (Specialized education, specific software experience, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree Supply chain or procurement support experience in CPG industry MS suite : excel, word, and PP SAP / Ariba
