What You Will Be Doing

• Welcoming and accompanying guests to their designated tables
• Presenting the menu and providing details upon inquiry
• Setting the tables
• Informing customers about the daily specials upon request
• Taking orders for food and beverages
• Verifying customers’ identification to ensure compliance with minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption
• Effectively communicating order details to the kitchen staff
• Serving food and drinks promptly and efficiently
• Organizing table arrangements and upholding a neat dining area
• Handling payment transactions
• Clearing tables upon customers’ departure

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Washing dishes, glassware, or cutlery
• Managing inventory and keeping track of stock levels
• Balancing the books or managing the establishment’s finances

Waiter / Waitress Key Responsibilities

You will take orders and serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. You’ll also need to communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time.

In addition, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dining area while adhering to the company’s service standards.

Waiter / Waitress Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience working as a Waiter / Waitress is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Good physical shape since the job involves a lot of standing and walking
