The Role

As a Math Teacher at Fortune School, you'll inspire students to see math as a tool for success in college and beyond. You'll provide a rigorous, engaging instructional program in a small-school environment where every student feels known, valued, and expected to achieve at high levels.

What You'll Do

• Instruction & Student Success
• Develop and implement lessons aligned with California State Standards.
• Use assessment data to refine instruction and support diverse learners.
• Foster a positive classroom culture where every student is motivated and engaged.
• Collaboration & Leadership
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and strengthen instruction.
• Participate in professional development and work with lead teachers, principals, and instructional coaches.
• Take on leadership opportunities that contribute to school growth.
• Family & Community Engagement
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress.
• Build partnerships with parents / guardians to support student learning.
• Student Support
• Identify and support at-risk students through interventions.
• Collaborate with staff and community partners to ensure student needs are met.

Salary and Benefits

$63,403 - $91,524 a year

Additional Benefits : Paid Time Off 12 paid sick days and 2 paid floater days. 403(B) Retirement Plan (Fortune matches up to 4% of contributions after one year of employment) PAID Teacher Induction Program.
