Art Therapist (CTRS)
Shift : M-F, with weekend rotation built in
Hours : 8a-4 : 30p
The Role Itself
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams for effective communication, especially in non-responsive cases and developmental needs in therapy.
- Ensures timely completion of assessments, balancing therapist workload, and applying appropriate therapeutic theory.
- Documents patient responses to interventions and formulating individualized treatment programs based on practitioner orders.
- Designs and delivers activities aligned with patient needs.
- Regularly reassesses patients, updating condition-based plans, and provides direction staff on activity-related groups.
- Maintains timely, thorough documentation in accordance with hospital standards.

Education :
- Master’s degree in Art Therapy OR Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) OR Master's degree in Music Therapy OR relevant state licensure / certification.
- CTRS or equivalent
- Must be 21 years or older
License :
Current applicable certification preferred.
