Flexible Salary Range : $76,000 - $150,000
Job Description :
Insight Global is seeking multiple Bridge Inspection Engineers and a Team Lead for a Bridge Inspection and Design Engineering team.
This person will handle reviewing reports, taking lead on inspections, operating access equipment, coordinating with vendors, and communicating with people onsite and driving the project forward.
The office is in Virginia Beach, VA, and work is done around the Hampton Roads area. Work is split 50 / 50 in the office and in the field.
This position includes travel 25% of the time and night work 10-25% percent of the time (nighttime work is accompanied by increased compensation).
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Certified by Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT)
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Concentrate
- Capacity and experience mentoring less tenured professionals
- Experience reviewing reports, working with vendors, and taking lead on inspections
- Experience operating equipment
- Ability and willingness to travel across Virginia
- Ability and willingness to complete site visits during nighttime
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Professional Engineer (PE) Certified
- Ability to do quality control reviews
- Experience bringing in new projects
