Newport Cove Dermatology seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our esteemed dermatology practice in Newport Beach who is willing to travel between two locations.
This role involves assisting our dermatologists with patient care, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Immediate opening for experienced medical assistant in dermatology.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include :
Preparing patients for examinations and procedures (medical and cosmetic)
Taking and recording patient histories and accurately scribing for the providers
Assisting with dermatological treatments and procedures
Handling patient inquiries and scheduling appointments
Managing medical records and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Phlebotomy experience is a plus but not required
Bilingal is a plus but not required
Required Skills
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
They should work well with a team and preferably be looking for a long-term position. While experience in dermatology is preferred, it is not required.
- Position : Back Office Medical Assistant, but will be cross trained
- Hours : 9am to 5pm
- Monday- Friday (4 to 5 days a week)
- Hourly Pay : $17-$20 / hr depending on experience
