THE ROLE

Provide leadership, direction and support to create an amazing shopping and team member experience where expectations are consistently exceeded.

Motivate others by presenting a compelling vision and clear direction. Drive profitable sales by ensuring that every guest receives an amazing check-out experience through your active supervision of your team to deliver a positive and accurate complex experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operate registers and perform general checkout functions.
• Provides clear direction and the support needed to maintain an efficient register complex environment.
• Maintain a high sense of urgency to complete fast price check inquiries and complete the sale to avoid delays at the register complex.
• Be highly aware of any possible internal or external theft and alert Loss Prevention when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
• Understand the operation of the cash register and follow all cash handling procedures.
• Communicate and address guest conflicts and provide resolution.
• Assist cashiers with requests such as price checks.
• Ensure line control and speedy checkout as needed.
• Supervision of the outpost self checkout area.
• Ensure breaks are taken as scheduled and that staffing meets the needs of the business.
• Attendance and Punctuality is a requirement.

• Previous Sales / retail experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
• Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as the needs of the business dictate.

COMPENSATION

Competitive salary $ - $ hourly, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes : medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and k plan.
